At Portals International’s 16-acre site, we delivered a six-month decommissioning programme that removed more than 2,100 tonnes of waste. This included cleaning and decommissioning 16 chemical storage tanks and an effluent treatment plant containing more than 1,600 tonnes of non-hazardous effluent—all completed without environmental contamination.

Not necessarily. This service can also be used for operational changes, asset replacement and redevelopments.
How long does a site decommissioning project typically take?
Project duration is highly dependent on the scale and complexity of the site. Some projects may be completed within a week, whereas others can run over several weeks or months. Once we’ve scoped the project requirements, we’ll be able to give you a more accurate timeframe for completion.
Can you work to tight deadlines or shutdown windows?
