Hazardous Waste Treatment & Recovery Facilities
Understanding what happens after collection matters. CSG combines nationwide waste collection with its own specialist treatment facilities and access to approved recovery and disposal outlets.
Our specialists assess each waste stream to identify an appropriate route, considering its composition, treatment requirements and recovery potential. From packaged chemicals to bulk liquid waste, we help businesses understand how their waste will be managed beyond collection.

A ROUTE SUITED TO THE WASTE
Different wastes need different treatment
Composition, contamination and recovery potential all influence what happens next.
Chemical & Corrosive Waste
Suitable wastes undergo controlled treatment to reduce hazardous properties or remove contaminants. This may involve neutralisation, separation and filtration, followed by appropriate management of the resulting materials.
Oily Water & Waste Oil
Suitable mixtures are separated into oil, water and residual solids. Recovered oil can go to specialist refineries for further processing; the other fractions follow their own treatment or disposal routes.
Solvent & Recoverable Materials
Suitable solvents can be directed to authorised energy-recovery facilities. Other wastes may be sorted or dismantled so their recoverable components can be managed separately.
Waste Requiring Disposal
Some wastes and treatment residues cannot be recovered. We identify the appropriate disposal route and any treatment needed beforehand, explaining the proposed outcome.
